Exceptional Mauser C96 Broomhandle 7.63x25mm with custom ordered ivory front target sight (very rare) and large ring hammer. First semi-auto handgun just before the 1911 started its reign. 
 
This original 1896 Broomhandle Mauser was manufactured by Mauser A.G., Oderndorf, Germany in early 1902 and was shipped to Von Lengerke & Detmold (the US Mauser distributer in New York city) on May 1st, 1902. Later in 1902 it was shipped to Chown Hardware in Portland, Oregon. Since then there has only been 2 owners. The gun has been test fired by a certified gunsmith and everything works correctly. The bore is bright and has been kept in a Pelican case all these years. 
 
Very well taken care of firearm that has significant historical value. The wood buttstock also acts as the holster.
